EC Teaching Scholarships

preschool teacher with children

Are you an experienced early childhood educator looking for the next step on your career path?

Are you passionate about working with young children at a crucial time in their development?

Continue to build your career and professional expertise by upgrading your qualification to become an early childhood teacher, supported by an Early Childhood Teaching Scholarship.

As an Early Childhood Teaching scholar, you will receive between $7,500 and $10,000,  in cash payments to help you with the cost of study for a Bachelor degree.

You will receive the payment instalments every semester and you can use the money on whatever best supports your study needs; from paying your fees or buying text books, to helping with travel costs or technology needs.

The scholarships are part of the recently announced strategy Rural and Remote Education: A blueprint for action. These scholarships are especially focused on educators working in rural and remote communities, particularly areas with identified shortages of early childhood teachers.

Please note that the most recent round of EC Teaching Scholarships has now closed and there are no new scholarships scheduled for the near future.
