The Rural Teacher Exchange Program provides unique opportunities for teachers in rural and remote schools to exchange with teachers in other schools for one year at a time, returning to their substantive school at the end of the year. The Rural Teacher Exchange Program, an initiative through the Rural and Remote Education Blueprint for Action, allows rural and remote teachers to experience a different teaching environment, and allows other teachers to consider whether teaching in a rural and remote school is a longer term option for them.

To apply please complete the Rural Teacher Exchange - application form (doc 274 KB). In the meantime, Express your Interest here on the Teacher Exchange Facebook page to connect with other interested teachers.
