We are now taking applications for 2018 International Teacher Exchange.
How it works and who it's for
Through the department's International Teacher Exchange Program, you could swap teaching positions and personal accommodation with a similarly-placed overseas teacher for one year, commencing in either January or July 2018.

Applicants must be full-time permanent teachers, including principals and executive teachers, in NSW public schools with at least five years teaching experience.
During the International Teacher Exchange, participants are required to prepare a research brief and on their return and will be provided with opportunities to present their observations during a Debriefing process.
- Develop and enhance teaching practices while being immersed in a different educational system and culture
- Create student classroom links and connections between Australian and international host schools
- Gain registered and non-registered credit through participation in the "NSW Exchange Teachers Research Fellowship" and exchange conferences
How to apply
To apply please email email@example.com for the 2018 Teacher Exchange Application Form and Principal Reference, completed forms are due before 20 December 2016.
Once applications are received, the Teacher Exchange office will liaise with all parties in facilitating exchange arrangements where possible.
Applications close on 20 December 2016 for the 2018 International Teacher Exchange. However, applications will continue to be accepted through the year until 30 June 2017 for any placements which remain unfilled.
