An educational vision for the future
South Western Sydney students are set to benefit from a significant investment in public education infrastructure. More than $130 million will be invested to upgrade six schools and build two new schools.
The Glenfield Educational Precinct
We will invest over $30 million to boost educational provision in Glenfield to meet the needs of current and future families.
The four schools in the precinct will provide a diverse educational provision to meet the growing demand for gifted and special needs education to help all children reach their potential.
Benefits for Glenfield Selective High School include:
- a school upgrade
- capacity for over 1,000 academically gifted students.
A new primary school to meet growth demands:
- land set aside for the future development of a 1000 student primary school.
Relocation and rebuild of special needs education for:
- Ajuga School, Campbell House School and Glenfield Park School. Capacity at each school will increase from 7 classes to 9 classes.
