Child care access hotline - For up-to-date information on child care services in your area, the types of care available and government help with the cost of care. You can access this service via Freecall 1800 670 305 between 8.00am and 9.00pm Monday to Friday (charges apply on calls from public pay phones or mobile phones).
Child and Family Information Line - is a referral service funded by the Department of Family and Community Services. You can access this service via Freecall 1800 803 820 or on the information line: (02) 8571 9783.
Children's health and safety
Child Protection Helpline
If you are a mandatory reporter, you can make non-imminent suspected risk of significant harm reports to the Child Protection Helpline either by using eReporting or by phone. All urgent reports must be made by phone to the Helpline on 133 627 (13 DOCS).
The general public should call the Child Protection Helpline on 132 111.
