Climate change

"Climate change is real - and it's here to stay. That's why we need to be ready and continually step up our efforts to prepare for it." The Hon. Morris Iemma, Premier of NSW

According to CSIRO and Bureau of Meterology projections, the NSW community needs to prepare for higher temperatures, less rainfall, more frequent and more severe droughts and more extreme storms. These changes are likely to have significant impacts on agriculture, water supply, settlements and infrastructure, natural resources, biodiversity and human health.
