Strategic Resource Management

The Strategic Resource Management Directorate (Executive Director: Sally Blackadder) provides strategic leadership and advice to the External Affairs and Regulation Division on all aspects of resource management, including people, engagement, finance and communications, to support the division to meet its objectives.

The Directorate is responsible for the Department's major external funding programs covering non-government schooling and early childhood education which includes management of $1.5 billion funding for over 900 non-government schools and 5000 early childcare services across the state. The Directorate leads the development of specialist advice in strategic funding policy to ensure effective investment of Departmental resources to achieve NSW government objectives in schooling and early childhood education.
