Young people to have a say on volunteering placements

Young people have been invited to say what attracts them to volunteering and what makes volunteering and unpaid work valuable to them.

The Chair of the NSW Parliamentary Committee on Children and Young People, Mark Coure MP, says it is also seeking their views on how such work can be done safely and in their best interests.

The committee's inquiry into volunteering and unpaid work placements among children and young people has already heard from volunteer organisations, peak bodies and government agencies.
