All school zones to have flashing lights

29 July 2014

The second phase of a $32 million program to install flashing lights at all school zones by the end of next year has been launched by the NSW Premier Mike Baird and Roads Minister Duncan Gay.

This year the first phase of installation, in identified high risk school zones, has been completed with an additional 680 sets of lights across the state.

The second phase has now begun, with lights to be installed at more than a hundred schools a month so all NSW schools will have them by the end of 2015.
