Assessment of Prior Service
Resulting from the move to Standards Based Remuneration for teachers, the Department is considering what is appropriate for inclusion in terms of service and is developing a new Assessment of Prior Service Policy. Information about Standards Based Remuneration can be accessed at here.
At this point in time new enquiries and requests related to an Assessment of Prior Service are not being accepted until a new policy and guidelines have been published.
Requests submitted prior to 1 January 2016 from teachers who also commenced employment prior to that date will continue to be considered under the previous guidelines with the outcome communicated to those teachers.
