Belmont High School

Thank you for your interest in the Belmont High School upgrade project.

The project page you are trying to access is not being updated as we are currently developing a new website for School Infrastructure NSW featuring major works project information. This is not a reflection of the project's progress, but a way for us to consolidate information and ensure the greatest accuracy is provided to the public.

We appreciate your patience while we work to deliver this renewed and user-friendly information hub for our new schools and major capital works upgrades. The new project website site will be ready by December 2017.

In the meantime, please direct any questions regarding the progress of this project to schoolinfrastructure@det.nsw.edu.au.

We thank you for your understanding and look forward to sharing more information with you soon.

Project overview

We are currently undertaking a major upgrade at Belmont High School.

This upgrade will deliver:

  • permanent accommodation for staff and students
  • an upgrade to the Special Education Unit
  • a new canteen
  • new toilets
  • general learning spaces
  • hospitality facilities
  • performance spaces.

The new facilities will integrate future-focused learning concepts to create an inclusive technology-rich environment where students will interact through a variety of teaching models.

A Project Reference Group (PRG) has been established to provide input to the project team and communicate the project's progress to the school community.

The project team regularly meets with the PRG (which consists of the school principal, parent representative and the Director of Public Schools) to give insight and direction on the needs of the school.
