Alexandria Park Community School
Thank you for your interest in the Alexandria Park Community School upgrade project.
The project page you are trying to access is not being updated as we are currently developing a new website for School Infrastructure NSW featuring major works project information. This is not a reflection of the project's progress, but a way for us to consolidate information and ensure the greatest accuracy is provided to the public.
We appreciate your patience while we work to deliver this renewed and user-friendly information hub for our new schools and major capital works upgrades. The new project website site will be ready by December 2017.
In the meantime, please direct any questions regarding the progress of this project to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We thank you for your understanding and look forward to sharing more information with you soon.
Planning is underway to redevelop Alexandria Park Community School (APCS) to cater for up to 1,000 primary school and 1,200 secondary school students. The redevelopment will deliver significant upgrades and improve facilities, such as:
- flexible, future-focused learning spaces to support modern pedagogies
- maximise outdoor green space
- consolidate the former dual campus school onto one site; Park Road.
The redevelopment will be ready for staff and students to occupy in 2022.
To facilitate the construction of the new school, a second pop-up for K-6 students will be constructed adjacent to the existing pop-up ‘The Buckland'. Classes will commence in the second pop-up from Term 1, 2018, while planning continues for the redevelopment of the new K-12 APCS.
A Project Reference Group (PRG) has been meeting regularly to provide local input to the project team, communicate the progress of the project to the school and community, and to gather feedback and ideas to inform the design. Updates and information will continue to be published on this website and in school newsletters.

Cleveland Street Intensive English High School (CSIEHS) will be temporarily co-located on the APCS site, with CSIEHS students to be accommodated in the vacated permanent K-6 buildings on Park Road during 2018. For further information on this co-location, please read our frequently asked questions.
