November 2016 project update

Project summary


This exciting project will deliver a new STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) focused building at Hurlstone Agricultural High School in Glenfield. The new building will include modern science laboratories and modern TAS (Technological and Applied Studies) facilities.

Progress update


The project team have progressed into the Detailed Design phase following endorsement of the Schematic Design known as the ‘The Hub' by the Project Reference Group (PRG).

Following the Pre-Development Application (DA) process undertaken with Campbelltown City Council, the final DA submission was made to the council incorporating the feedback received and the latest designs.

Key tasks for the upcoming month

  • Continue the Detailed Design work, including developing the furniture layout plans
  • Consultation and workshops will be held to further improve the design.
