December 2016 project update


Project summary

 

This exciting project will deliver a new STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) focused building at Hurlstone Agricultural High School in Glenfield. The new building will include modern science laboratories and modern TAS (Technological and Applied Studies) facilities.

Progress update

 

The project team have continued with the Detailed Design phase. Detailed design workshops have continued with the school and the Department of Education Technical Stakeholder Group.

Early consultation with shortlisted contractors for the demolition and construction works have begun to gather input into buildability and logistics.

Key tasks for the upcoming month
 

  • Continue the Detailed Design 
  • Continue the early engagement process with shortlisted contractors for the demolition and construction works
  • Consultation and workshops to further improve the design.

The building will be a state of the art facility.
